  • How often should I replace my air filter?

    1” filter replace every month, 2” filters replace every 3 months, 4”-5” replace every 6 months if return air is properly sized for your system.

  • How often should I get my systems serviced?

    We recommend having your systems serviced at least annually. Many customers choose to service biannually for both heating and cooling seasons. We can often catch small problems before they become a costly repair.

  • What can I do as a home owner to help my system run more efficiently?

    Change air filters regularly, keep debris (etc. grass clippings, leaves) from collecting in outdoor unit, cut back bushes and hedges at least 16” from outdoor unit to allow maximum air flow.

  • What should I do if system is not heating or cooling properly?

    Always turn system off to prevent further damage. Give us a call and we can have a tech come out and evaluate the problem.

  • What is a smart thermostat?

    Smart thermostat can be used with many home automation systems and can be adjusted remotely with smart phones, tablets and computers. Many offer other features like self learning your schedule, remote sensors to even out temperature across your home, and geo tracking to adjust temperature in anticipation of you arriving home.

  • What is the difference between single stage and multi stage equipment?

    Single stage equipment has one capacity and speed of operation.


    Multi stage equipment can run at multiple speeds and capacities. (Etc. high and low stage)


    Multi stage equipment also has dehumidification features and multiple stages of operation.
